Becoming a sponsor for this year’s IIE Northeast Regional Conference is a great way to get your company in front of some of the best and brightest students and faculty members from some of the nation’s prominent Industrial Engineering departments.  This event is sure to be a great chance to promote career opportunities within your company and showcase these opportunities to a talented pool of future industrial engineers and leaders.  Becoming a sponsor is a great way to show your employees, prospective employees, and customers that you support academic pursuits within Industrial Engineering and want to enhance the education of those students who share a common interest and desire to learn more about industry around the world.

There will be two types of sponsorships available at this year’s event: event-oriented sponsorships and general sponsorships.  Larger events being held throughout the weekend include an opening breakfast, a tailgate-style barbeque lunch, a campus-wide scavenger hunt, a technical paper competition, and a closing banquet.  We are looking for title sponsors for all of these events.  Many of these events include the opportunity for event sponsors to provide a speaker as well as demonstrations and/or lab tours.

 Additionally, for event sponsors where there is no speaker at the specific event (scavenger hunt, technical paper competition, lunch), speaker blocks will be available on a first come, first serve basis during the morning speakers’ section following Saturday’s breakfast.  During all events and speaker sessions the conference committee is aiming to schedule speakers who will enrich the audience’s knowledge on world class engineers, companies, and experiences.  It would also be preferred if speakers could focus or touch on an aspect of their company dealing with this year’s theme, International Industrial Engineering.  Event sponsors would also receive the same perks listed below for general sponsors with regard to corporate logos, promotional materials, and printed information.

The other option for sponsorship is for your company to be a general sponsor. General sponsors would have corporate information in the event program, the banquet program, and the conference website which could link interested viewers directly to your company’s homepage. Corporate names and logos would also appear on various other items and/or banners used throughout the weekend. If speaker blocks remain after all event sponsors have been given the opportunity to send speakers, these empty spots will be opened up to general sponsors. A general sponsor partnership is sure to attract attention for your company and advertise your corporate function and objectives without the same level of monetary compensation as a full-event sponsorship.
